Volunteering with GLN

Did you know that GLN only has two full-time staff and a large volunteer base that drives the organization forward? Interested in getting involved and helping GLN grow and develop? The Global Language Network is recruiting volunteers! There are two ways to get involved: 

• Become a long-term volunteer (GLN Director): work closely with GLN's Executive Board and apply your skills, expertise and experience to GLN's growth and development 


• Serve on a GLN Committee and help out with discrete tasks and projects 

Apply to become a GLN Director:

• Commit to at least a 6-month volunteer term with GLN 


• Commit 10-20 hours per month 


• Available positions: Director of Grant-Writing, Director of Business Strategy, Director of Teacher Development, Director of Events, Director of Graphic Design, Director of Web Development, Director of Communications, Director of Information Systems, Director of Administration

Please read over GLN's Organizational Structure for more information on specific positions. In order to apply, please send your resume to Info@TheGLN.org and explain in no more than a page why you would like to serve as a GLN Director and what you can bring to the organization. 

 Apply to serve on a GLN Committee: 

• Each committee will be presided over by a member of the GLN Executive Board


• Each committee will have a specific mandate and perform a set of tasks directly related to accomplishing GLN's mission


• Available committees: Committee for Business Strategy, Committee for Teacher Recruitment and Support, Committee for Language Resources, Committee for Events, The Creative Committee, Committee for Social Media
